KMOS-TV to replay UCM football games
Warrensburg - The University of Central Missouri announced Wednesday that KMOS-TV will replay each of the Mules three football games that will be shown live on the MIAA Broadcasting Network. The games will be replayed the following day, Sunday, at 4 p.m. to approximately 800,000 households throughout the state on KMOS-TV, Missouri PBS.

Warrensburg Soccer Tigers pull out win over St. Pius X
Warrensburg opened West Central Conference play with a tough 2-1 victory over St. Pius X, on Tuesday. The Tigers fought back from a one goal deficit to gain the victory.

"This was a tough match," Warrensburg head coach Matthew Bax said. "Both teams can out and played physical soccer and did not back down. Pius gave us little time on the ball before closing a player down. This has turned into a friendly rivalry between two quality programs that year in and year out are in the hunt for the conference title."

Tigers open season with 5-1 win over Pleasant Hill
The Warrensburg Tigers Boys' Soccer team opened their 2010 account with a 5-1 victory over Pleasant Hill. Warrensburg got goals from Andrew Whitney, Sam Caballero, Derek Crockett, Josh Pfaff and Zach Taylor.

Point race continues at Central Missouri Speedway
As the season begins to draw down to the final races of the season and with the Labor Day and championship weekends of special events imminent for modified drivers in Warrensburg, the "Chase for the Championships" continued to bring out the best from the talented assembly of drivers in each division. The drivers are either hanging on to their close points leads or attempting to climb into the top spots for their respective division crowns. This weekend the results either solidified their positions or caused some concern for drivers in the 'Mighty' Modified, ULMA Late Model, Street Stock and B-Modified divisions at Central Missouri Speedway.

Cougars win, Indians lose in opening week
The DeKalb Tigers defeated the Chilhowee Indians 54-42, Friday night in Chilhowee. 

The Indians started slow, had four fumbles, and found themselves down at half by the score of 38-8.
